Nosy Be is an ideal place to discover freediving and has many advantages:

Freediving is accessible at any age if you are able to swim.
We offer courses adapted to everyone's level. We would like to share with you this "way of life" for a healthy, comfortable and safe practice on magical spots in Nosy Be island, Madagascar.
SSI stands for Scuba Schools International is a scuba diving and freediving organization created in 1970. SSI offers a wide choice of training range from initiation to expert levels and today has more than 2,800 international centers in more than 110 countries.
Your training meets and exceeds internationally recognized training standards in terms of safety and quality. Your SSI Freediving Center is part of the international SSI family with high levels of standards for safety and training.

A certification card will be issued to you for the SSI Freediving Level 1 after validation of the training by your instructor. This certification will allow you to dive in international structures in autonomy according to your level.
Your journey to certification involves three stages:

- Do your digital learning training included in your kit. These materials allow you to study at your own pace, and you can use them anywhere, anytime, after downloading them into your MySSI application.
- Perform the theoretical sessions and the sessions in the swimming pool / protected environment with your SSI instructor
- Do training sessions in natural environment

yes there are equivalences between the different organizations (for example a level 1 SSI is equivalent to a level 2 AIDA and Apnea Academy and at the PADI Freediver level).
We advise you to have your own equipment but we provide quality equipment (masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits, weight belts ...)
We do not book accommodation but we can advise you on the choice of accommodation in Nosy Be.
