During this trip, you will be able to learn and improve your freediving skills with Guillaume, while immersing yourself in the daily life of a scientific program dedicated to the whale shark with Stella Diamant from the Madagascar Whale Shark Project (MWSP).

​

Stella is the founder of the MWSP scientific project which started in 2016. MWSP is a program dedicated to the whale shark whose three key aspects are: research, conservation and awareness.

Highlights :

• Small group (8 people maximum)

• 5 days at sea doing exploration, rope training and looking for whale sharks

• Presentations and scientific expertise by a marine biologist

• Freediving coaching by a certified instructor

• Possibility to get SSI certifications

Access conditions :

​​

• Be comfortable in snorkeling and be able to swim 200 meters with flippers

• Be able to spend several hours on a boat in open water

• 18 years old minimum

• Freediving insurance (DAN, Lafont or other)

• Desire to learn or progress in freediving (training on rope and exploration)

• Interest in scientific research and whale shark protection
